This bokashi bucket turns your kitchen waste into a valuable soil improver. It is very easy to use: simply add your kitchen scraps and sprinkle them with bokashi starter. Then press everything down with the included tamper.
Liquid plant food can be tapped out of the tap. Leave the full bucket to rest for two weeks, then work the homemade bokashi into the soil.

How do you make bokashi?
- Spread a thin layer of Bokashi Starter over the grid of the kitchen bucket.
- Cut the kitchen scraps into pieces no larger than 5 cm.
- Add a layer of about 5 cm of kitchen scraps to the bucket.
- Spread a scoop of Bokashi Starter over the kitchen scraps.
- Press the kitchen scraps down firmly.
- Close the Bokashi kitchen bin tightly with the lid.
- Repeat these steps until the bin is full.
- Drain the juice daily; it may take a week or more for the first moisture to be released.
- Leave the full bokashi bucket to ferment for at least 2 weeks.
